Numerical Relativity — Higher order boundary condition (HOBC) improvements in the Spectral Einstein Code (https://www.black-holes.org/code/SpEC.html).

At a fixed radius we check what the gravitational waves are doing in a simulation. At this radius there is a boundary condition order set that allow gravitational waves to pass at a fixed mode without spurious reflections. The goal is to improve the HOBC to allow the higher modes to pass without reflections. This will allow us to study the gravitational waves in more detail.
