Due to lack of funding, the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Washington State University will not host an REU Summer School in summer 2011. Historically, the department has funded 10 students each year through an REU Summer School and hopes to have another one in place by Summer 2012. In the meantime, we want you to be aware that 5-10 REU students have separately been hosted each summer by individual faculty members with supplements to their NSF grants. If you are interested in a particular research area, please contact the cognizant faculty member directly, providing information of the same kind as you would when applying for an REU summer program. |
